The goal of this project is to study a dedicated solution for decision-aid support when new real estate projects must be integrated into existing areas.
Two aspects are investigated: the reconstitution of existing buildings with different levels of quality, and the integration of new projects in the existing area with the possibility to alternate between different versions of the projects instantaneously while changing lighting properties (day period).
We have already investigated efficient prototyping tools to create virtual buildings, real-time rendering algorithms for white models view, different techniques to acquire the datas from existing plans, experimented methods to retrieve measures and pictures on-site, reconstituted realistic façades based on the collected information.
