Cultural Heritage with Unity3D : DS Improve's Sablon-On-Web

DS Improve has used Unity3D to produce a 3D interactive web demo of the historical Sablon area in Brussels.

The Sablon's place is a touristic area in Brussels (Belgium/Europe), known for its old antique dealers, luxury chocolate shops and restaurants.

2009-2010 CLEVER II

Collaborative Edition and Visualization Environment in Real-Time (CLEVER)

The goal of this industrial research project is to design an all-in-one collaborative visualization and editing tool, compatible with a maximum of visualization hardwares (personal computers, laptops, graphics workstations, consoles) and servers.

2008-2009 ImmoRT & Haeva Engine

The goal of this project is to study a dedicated solution for decision-aid support when new real estate projects must be integrated into existing areas.

Two aspects are investigated: the reconstitution of existing buildings with different levels of quality, and the integration of new projects in the existing area with the possibility to swap between different versions of the project instantaneously while changing lighting properties (day period).

2008-2009 Web3D

The goal of this project is to identify and to produce a solution for the production and the visualization of realistic 3D content that can be embedded in a web browser, and compatible with the reduced bandwidth available on the Internet.

The work consists mainly in the study of real-time 3D technologies that can be executed remotely and can be used for the web, as well as the creation of web-enabled technological demonstrations.

2008 – GPU Programming using AMD Rendermonkey, HLSL and DirectX9

Vidéos showing visual psychedelic effects, quickly prototyped using the shader development environment.

The goal of this exercise was to train the R&D team with AMD shader development environment to design in “wysiwyg” GPU programs in HLSL and DirectX9.

 
These effects are running in real-time and are directly executed by the graphics card processor without using the central processor.
