New Datacenter for DS Improve
This month of September 2008 saw the birth of the new DS Improve Datacenter.
We took the decision to invest in a high level solution in order to provide a more reliable and efficient infrastructure, which would also be more flexible.
As a Select Expert partner it was natural for us to choose Fujitsu-Siemens equipment in which we have a very good knowledge.
The chosen solution is a combination of chassis servers "Blade" BX600S3 with BX620S4 Blade Bi-Processor Quad-Core Xeon low with 32GB of memory each and firm discs FibreCAT SX88 supports a mix of SAS and SATA technology.
Our partnership level “VMware enterprise "was recently acquired so that our expertise and experience in their solutions are officially recognized
It is equally natural to use VMware Infrastructure 3 Enterprise to allow us to maximize our investment in equipment and offer our customers and our employees the wanted scalability and flexibility.
Our storage data also uses a virtualization technology that deserves to be known, DATACORE SANmelody allows us to stay in the same vein of flexibility and consolidation.
Our data center could evolve into a maximum capacity of 40 blade servers to 1.2 Tb of RAM, the system will be able to support thousands of virtual machines.
In a few weeks, the DS Improve customers also will benefit from this datacenter, in this case through the remote rental solutions proposed by Citrix and Microsoft.
