Crisis or not, renew your PC's!

The temptation is great to postpone investments. But this is not without danger, warns Intel with figures supporting it. According to a study made by Techaisle, a PC that is over 3 years old is subject to an increase security flaws of 58%.

In case of viral infection, the time to clean the machine is 23% longer than with a modern PC (22% for laptops).

Security flaws on the rise are not the only cause of soaring maintenance costs in first three years. In fact, 33% of "Old" PC are knwowing failures of hard disk when new machines only 8%.The older motherboards are for 14% victims of damages when only 4% for most recent PC's . 26% of network cards did not communicate a lot anymore after the age of reason against 6% for the younger. Finally, 49% of the power supplies older then 3 years are dead towards 11%.

Finally, the expenditure necessary to the annual maintenance of a computer which is over three years old precess around 390 euros per year per unit
for small businesses and 506 EUR for medium sized structures.

Let's say up to 1.3 times similar charges connected to a PC of less than three years old.
