No doubt anymore about Open Source: it has imposed itself !
The Open Source is from now on in the middle of any information system. Better, it becomes the backbone of the pre-owned softwares, claims Forrester Research. 72% of the questioned companies are conscious that the pre-owned software publishers integrate more and more Open Source bricks in their commercial products - in some cases, this is the reason why it enters the company. If 39% of the companies already combine open and pre-owned softwares, 32% finally prefer a purely Open Source environment.

Why do you virtualize?
For one data processing manager on four (24%), the simplification of the operating systems and the delivery of the applications are the principal advantages of the virtualization.
And Symantec, which recently probed the market, adds that one on five questioned person (20%) quotes rather the cost reduction as first advantage.
And for the others? Abstinence, doubts or carryforward… The costs related to virtualilzation remain the principal barrier to its generalized adoption, according to 22% of the probed managers.
